Exit Strategies II
This is the second piece of the Exit Strategies trilogy. It was written for a performance at Performer Stammtisch, Berlin May 5th 2008.
The first part of the piece stems from a game-like improvisatory structure - performers in london (at auto-italia south east ) were given some short instructions and a sound making device (ie. make a sound, take two steps forward, make a sound, turn right, take two steps forward, make a sound, repeat). On the floor was marked the exact size of the venue in Berlin, and no sound was to be made outside of this area.
This performance was recorded, and played back at the Performance in Berlin, followed by a computer simulation of the same instructions.
